RadioBDC Sports: Bruins-Habs preview
I sat down with Mr. Perfect-NHL-Playoff-bracket (so far), a.k.a. Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe, and after a lengthy discussion of the NU shuffle, we finally got around to what the Bruins should expect from Montreal in their upcoming playoff series. We also went around the league and took a look at some of the other series. Listen. More
12 songs that reference “Star Wars”
The internet almost broke when director J.J. Abrams announced the cast for "Star Wars: Episode VII." Shortly thereafter, our pal Perry Eaton from BDCwire put together this handy-dandy guide to the non-Mark Hamill/Carrie Fisher/Harrison Ford cast members, which certainly is worth a look. Now, I'm not the type of Star Wars nerd who boasts an encyclopedic knowledge of the films, but I am the type of Star Wars nerd who's seen the first three films an absurd number of times and I'm pretty excited about the prospect of an Episode VII. And I'm a music nerd by profession, so I got to thinking about where the two intersect, and that led to this list. I hope you enjoy it.
Live in the Lab
The Hold Steady Live in the Lab
Live in the Lab
On Thursday, April 17 we debuted our brand new Live in the Lab space, presented by Shock Top: RadioBDC Studio B. In doing so, we welcomed one of the biggest names we've had to perform to date: The Hold Steady. Enjoy three songs from their new album "Teeth Dreams," plus my all-time favorite Hold Steady song (next to "Citrus").

As we chat for the last time in May, we discuss a team that, as Steve Silva puts it, is looking very much forward to the month of May. Pitching woes, solidifying the lineup, even a post-Boston Marathon hi-five for Steve: we covered it all this week. More
